Pure Florida Fun...

Avery, of course, learned some new tricks while we were down in Florida:
- found her thumb, on a consistent basis
- rolling from back to front, consistently
- recognizes the camera when it comes out and is quite the ham!  She squeals and laughs and grins when she sees it.

Friends in Florida...

While in Florida, we visited with friends.  Our good family friends, Rick and Colleen came down to Florida for a few days.  They used to be our neighbors when we lived in Omaha, starting when I was 3 years old!  I think it's great to have friends who have known you for so long.  And now, it's so great for them to be able to meet and get to know Avery.

After Rick and Colleen went back to Omaha, we drove about an hour away to visit our old youth pastor and his wife and 19 month old, Jayden.  I hadn't seen Tweit and Jolynn for several years, so it was fun to catch up!

Avery's First Boat Ride...

We were in Florida last week, visiting my grandparents.  We had a great time!  And Avery went on her first boat ride.  Do you think she enjoyed herself?

I think so.

The Cuteness is Too Much to Handle...

Last week, we traveled to New York City to visit our good friends, who had twins exactly a month before Avery was born.

Avery got to fly on an airplane for the first time!  And, it couldn't have gone any better.  She was an angel.

On Friday, all 3 kiddos took a nap together in one of the cribs.  Avery slept awesome.  I think she liked having another warm body by her!

We walked to Madison Square Park one day and went to The Shake Shack.  Yum!
